Middle East Yacht Charters
explore diverse cultural and religious influences in a wealth of natural beauty, located primarily around Turkey and Cyprus. Turkey’s coastline stretches for approximately 5220 miles. Most of the yacht charters are in the south, with some availability for Istanbul. Blue cruises and gulet (a specialized yacht) charters abound on turquoise coastal waters. Two large marinas are located in Istanbul, where the view from a yacht embodies natural landscapes, Ottoman and Byzantine culture, the natural port of Golden Horn, and the strait of Istanbul, called Boshporus, with unequaled beauty. Bodrum has a myriad of charters, to view many ruins from the sea, and one of the Ancient Wonders of the World. Sailing one of the traditional yachts nicely contrasts the sophisticated, nightlife-oriented town. Cyprus, in the eastern Mediterranean, offers yachting past secluded beaches surrounded by cliffs and cedar tree forests. Pafos’s fishing harbor is close to the town center. Historic basilicas and churches hug the coast, and remnants of Aphrodite with Petra tou Romiou at sea. Limassol is known for its beaches and festivals. Yacht charters include octopus fishing with qualified crew, diving, snorkeling, dolphin watching, and special occasions. In Larnaka, the harbor holds worldwide yachts with a palm tree-lined promenade. The marina requires crew clearance, and yachts must reserve space well ahead of time. The major yachting season for the Middle East is from April to October.
