Texas Yacht Charters
invite you to excursions off of the coast of the second largest state of the United States. On the northwest edge of the Gulf of Mexico, the Texas coastline spans for 624 miles. Many of the yacht charter opportunities are held in the Galveston region and the Corpus Christi region. An abundance of fishing charters covers this region as well. There are several yacht clubs around the Galveston Bay area, which has a preservation program for the estuary and local habitat. Clear Lake, off of the western shore of Galveston Bay, is home to several yacht charters, one of which offers certified sailing instruction. Traveling down the coastline, there are many fishing charters available from Matagorda Island. The 7,325 acre Matagorda Island State Park can only be reached by ferry, charter, and private boat. Near Corpus Christi, Port Aransas is a resort town with 18 miles of open beach area, both yacht and fishing charters, parasailing, and kayaking. Corpus Christi Bay is rated highly as a vacation destination, and has several yacht charters and nearby yacht clubs. Undeveloped Padre Island National Seashore is the largest barrier island of its kind in the 48-state region of the United States, with a length of more than 80 miles and more than 130 miles of beach area. Surfing and fishing are only two of the many activities available here. Padre Island’s Big Shell and Little Shell Beaches are known for superior shelling. Enjoy the Gulf of Mexico’s Texas coastline year-round!
